Offered for sale is a copy of the orange vinyl U.S. LP Blind Boy Grunt by Bob Dylan, pressed by Popo Productions and the Trademark of Quality label with the cover still in the original shrink wrap.
About this copy: This copy of Blind Boy Grunt is a 1972 U.S. release. While the record has blank labels, the insert says “A POPO PRODUCTION.” This was a joint release between Popo Productions and the Trademark of Quality label, whose founders were big fans of Bob Dylan.
The plain white cover is M- and is still in the original shrink wrap. There is an original price tag on the shrink wrap (not shown in photos.) The original insert is M-.
The orange vinyl (it’s almost pink in color) disc is M- with a couple of spindle marks on the labels, but no marks on the vinyl. Clean disc! The matrix numbers on the disc are BLIND BOY – 9-A and BLIND BOY -9-B, which is the same as the pressings that were actually labeled as Trademark of Quality pressings.
A nice copy of a scarce Bob Dylan LP.
Background: Released in 1972 on a number of labels, Blind Boy Grunt is an album of then-unreleased material by Bob Dylan.
