Description
Offered for sale is a red vinyl pressing of the 1967 Japan-only LP The Best of Timi Yuro by Timi Yuro, including the original obi.
Note: This LP is a completely different album from the U.S. LP of the same name that was released in 1963.
About this copy: This copy of The Best of Timi Yuro is a 1967 Japanese pressing on the Liberty label, pressed on “Everclean” red vinyl.
The cover is close to M-; there’s no wear, but there are a couple of minor corner dents. The original obi is M-, though the “hojyuhyo” (reorder tag) has been removed. The original envelope-style paper inner sleeve is included.
There is no insert, though the album may have been issued without one.
The red vinyl disc is M-. It’s exceptionally clean; with the exception of a couple of spindle marks on the side 2 label, the record shows no signs of play.
A beautiful copy of a rare LP.
Background: Timi Yuro, known as the “little girl with the big voice,” had a number of chart singles and a few hits in the early-to-mid 1960s. She’s best remembered for her first single, “Hurt,” which reached #4 in 1961.
