Allmusic.com gave Electronic Realizations for Rock Orchestra a 4 1/2 star review:
Electronic Realizations for Rock Orchestra is a stunning piece of polyphonic synthesizer music, the leap forward that took serious electronic music beyond rote imitations of Switched-On Bach into artistic territory.
Allmusic.com gave Sequencer a 4 star review:
While Synergy’s second album, Sequencer, isn’t quite as startling as their debut, it remains an intriguing, unpredictable collection of electronic instrumentals. Again, the sounds and technology occasionally sound a little dated, but the ideas remain fresh.
Allmusic.com gave Cords a 3 star review:
With their third album, Cords, Synergy began to repeat some of their ideas without expanding them greatly. There is still plenty of provocative, rewarding music on the album, but it doesn’t quite match the freshness or brilliance of the first two records.
