Offered for sale is an original red vinyl pressing of the Japan-only compilation album Golden Hits of Cher, including the original obi.
About this copy: This copy of Golden Hits of Cher is a 1967 Japanese pressing on the Liberty label, pressed on “Everclean” red vinyl.
The cover is VG++, with a small split at the center of the top of the cover. The obi is VG+, with slight wear at the top and bottom edges and a bit of residue from where a sticker was removed.
This LP was issued without a lyric insert.
The disc is VG++, with just a couple of very minor sleeve scuffs and a few spindle marks on the label. This is the only copy we’ve ever seen with the original obi.
A nice copy of a Cher album that is hard to find complete.
Background: Cher was surprisingly popular in Japan in the 1960s, which led to the release of this Japanese-only LP in 1967. Issued by Liberty Records, this LP was originally pressed on red “Everclean” vinyl. This copy includes the original obi and the original envelope inner sleeve. This LP was originally issued without a lyric insert.
