Description
Offered for sale is a copy of the second LP by Shiva’s Headband, the privately pressed Coming to a Head.
About this copy: This copy of Coming to a Head is an original pressing on the small Texas-based Armadillo label.
The cover is VG, with general wear. This cover isn’t actually printed; it’s a plain white cover with a sticker attached to the front and back.
The disc is VG+, with a few minor sleeve scuffs and a couple of light marks. The record has clearly had little play. Someone has written the numbers “1” and “2” on the labels in what appears to be pencil.
A nice copy of a rare rock/psych/country LP.
Background: Released in 1971, Coming to a Head was the second LP by Austin, Texas-based Shiva’s Headband. Their first LP, Take Me to the Mountains, had been released nationally by Capitol, but sold poorly.
Their second LP was privately pressed on a small Austin label, Armadillo Records.
