About this copy: This copy of Double Platinum is a 1980 Japanese pressing on the Polystar label of an album that was originally released in 1978.
The cover is VG++ and close to M- with a couple of minor corner dents, but no wear. The obi is M-.
The lyric insert is M-. The “Casablanca Fair” insert is VG+ with slight discoloration.
The the two discs are M- with a couple of spindle marks on the labels, but no marks on the vinyl. Clean discs!
A nice copy of a scarce Kiss set.
Background: Released in 1978, Double Platinum was the first compilation album by Kiss.
The album reached #22 on the U.S. album chart and was certified platinum (but not “double platinum”) by the RIAA.
