Offered for sale is an original UK pressing of the 1988 LP The Xenon Codex by Hawkwind with the limited edition die-cut foldout cover.
This pressing was quite limited on vinyl, as most people bought the album on compact disc when new.

The cover is VG++ and close to M-, with trace edge wear.
The disc is M- and looks unplayed.
This came from our own collection. We bought it new and have probably played it twice.
A nice copy of a terrific and rather underrated LP.
Background: Released in 1988, The Xenon Codex was the fifteenth studio album by Hawkwind.
The album reached #79 on the UK charts, but did not chart in the U.S.

Coming from the late-’80s period of the band, this is a strong album from a fertile period in the musical history of this group. Although not considered the classic era of Hawkwind, the band released albums that were consistently quite strong during this era. Xenon Codex, although not the strongest album from that time, has a lot of very good material. Cuts that really set themselves apart from the rest include “The War I Survived” and the awesome “Sword of the East.”
