The cover is VG++ with slight corner wear. The generic inner sleeve is M-.
The record is M- with a couple of faint sleeve scuffs.
This copy came from our own collection and we bought it new in 1988. It’s likely been played no more than twice.
A nice copy of a terrific Heart LP. We prefer the sound of this pressing to the Japanese one.
Background: Released in 1978, Dog & Butterfly was the fourth album by Heart.
The album reached #17 on the U.S. album charts.

Dog & Butterfly became Heart’s fourth million-selling album and placed two songs of opposing styles in the Top 40. Like their Magazine album, Dog & Butterfly peaked at number 17 on the charts, but the material from it is much stronger from every standpoint, with Ann and Nancy Wilson involving themselves to a greater extent. The light, afternoon feel of the title track peaked at number 34, while the more resounding punch of “Straight On” went all the way to number 15 as the album’s first single.
