Offered for sale is n original 1971 pressing of the Japan-only compilation LP All Together by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, including the original “Sound Sound Rock Age 7” obi.
About this copy: This copy of All Together is a 1971 pressing on the Atlantic label, with the short-lived “Sound Sound Rock Age 7″ obi.
The cover is M- with trace corner wear. The obi is VG++ with a couple of minor wrinkles and a small 1/8” (3 mm) tear at the top edge. The “hojyuhyo,” or reorder tag, is still attached. The insert is VG+ with some discoloration from age.
The record is M- with a couple of spindle marks on the labels, but no marks on the vinyl. Clean disc!
A nice copy of a scarce Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young LP and a hard title to find as a first pressing.
Background: In 1971, based on the success of Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Deja Vu, Atlantic Records released an album in the United States called Celebration Copy – Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young Month that contained one side of tracks by the group and one side of solo tracks by David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash.
Celebration Copy was not sold in stores, but was issued only as a promotional item.
The record was issued commercially in Japan, however, with a different title – All Together and a different cover.
