The lyric insert is VG, with no wear, tears, or writing, but with uniform discoloration from age.
The disc is M- with one or two spindle marks on the labels, but no marks on the vinyl. Clean disc!
A beautiful copy of a terrific (and great-sounding!) LP and one that is quite hard to find as a first pressing.
Background: Gaucho was the seventh Steely Dan LP and the group’s last album for 20 years. The album reached #9 on the U.S. charts and #27 in the UK, helped by the single “Hey Nineteen.”
Allmusic.com gave Gaucho a 4 star review:
Aja was cool, relaxed, and controlled; it sounded deceptively easy. Its follow-up, Gaucho, while sonically similar, is its polar opposite: a precise and studied record, where all of the seams show. Gaucho essentially replicates the smooth jazz-pop of Aja, but with none of that record’s dark, seductive romance or elegant aura.
