A nice copy of an album that’s quite hard to find in good condition, as most copies have badly worn covers.
Background: A Night at the Opera was the fourth album by Queen and is likely their best-known LP. Released in 1975, the album reached #1 in the UK and #4 in the U.S., where it has sold more than three million copies.
Allmusic.com gave A Night at the Opera a 5 star review:
Queen were straining at the boundaries of hard rock and heavy metal on Sheer Heart Attack, but they broke down all the barricades on A Night at the Opera, a self-consciously ridiculous and overblown hard rock masterpiece. …It’s prog rock with a sense of humor as well as dynamics, and Queen never bettered their approach anywhere else.
