About this copy: This copy of Come Taste the Band is a 1975 Japanese pressing on the “Burbank” Warner Brothers label.
The cover is VG+ with moderate foxing on the inside and outside of the cover, but no wear.
The obi is M-; the “hojyuhyo” (reorder tag) is still attached. The insert is M-.
The disc is M- with a few spindle marks on the labels, but no marks on the vinyl. Clean disc!
A nice copy of a scarce (and pretty good) Deep Purple LP.
Background: Released in 1975, Come Taste the Band was the tenth studio album by Deep Purple and the only album to include Tommy Bolin on guitar.
The album reached #19 on the UK album chart and #43 on the U.S. chart.

When Ritchie Blackmore departed Deep Purple in the mid-’70s and formed Rainbow (which featured Ronnie James Dio), his replacement was Tommy Bolin. To be sure, Blackmore was a darn tough act to follow, but Bolin proved himself to be a fine guitarist in his own right on Come Taste the Band, his first album with Deep Purple. … Deep Purple’s more hardcore devotees will want this album, though it’s far from the best representation of their ’70s work.
