Offered for sale is an original white label promotional copy of the 1970 Japan-only compilation album Golden Prize by the Rolling Stones, including the original obi.
About this copy: This copy of Golden Prize is a 1970 Japanese pressing on the London label.
The gatefold cover is VG+ with slight edge wear and slight wear on the inside of the gatefold cover. The obi is VG++ with slight foxing.
This LP was issued without an insert. Instead of an insert, there is a photo/lyric booklet inside the gatefold cover.
The white label promo disc is VG+ with a couple of light scuffs on each side. The deep groove disc has a few spindle marks on the labels and light foxing. It’s a clean disc that’s had relatively little play.
A nice copy of a rare Rolling Stones LP.
Background: Released in 1970, The Rolling Stones Golden Prize was a compilation album that was released only in Japan.
The 1970 issue was the album’s only release; it has never been reissued.
