Offered for sale is a copy of a rare white label promotional copy of the Japan-only compilation LP by Nancy Sinatra titled Golden Nancy Sinatra Vol. 2, including the original obi.
There is a 7″ EP with this same cover and title that is far more common than the LP, which rarely turns up for sale.
About this copy: This copy of Golden Nancy Sinatra Vol. 2 is an original 1968 white label promo Japanese pressing on the Reprise label.
The cover is VG++, with faint edge and corner wear. The Obi is VG+, with a small tear near the top edge.
This LP was issued without an insert, as it has a gatefold cover with lyrics and photos inside.
The white label promo disc is M-, with a couple of very faint sleeve scuffs. A beautiful disc that has clearly only been played a couple of times.
A nice copy of a rare Nancy Sinatra LP that is seldom found complete and almost never as a promotional copy.
Background: Nancy Sinatra’s career didn’t take off in the United States until 1966, but she’d had success in Japan since her first single in 1962.
As a result, there are a number of compilation albums that have been released with her songs only in Japan. Golden Nancy Sinatra was one of the first of those.
