About this copy: This cop of Music for Bang, Baaroom and Harp is a 1958 U.S. stereo pressing on the RCA label.
The cover is VG+ with slight wear and discoloration along the mouth. The original RCA inner sleeve is M- with no splits.
The disc is VG++ with a couple of faint sleeve scuffs. It’s a very clean disc that has had little play. The disc has 1S stampers on both sides.
A great and affordable opportunity to hear a true first pressing of this audiophile classic and one of the nicest copies of this LP we’ve ever seen.
Background: Music for Bang, Baaroom and Harp has long been an audiophile favorite, and it’s one of the iconic stereo demonstration discs from the golden age of stereo. While it’s light pop, the tunes are catchy enough and the soundstage is huge and wide. In addition, the music moves across the room and on one track, you’ll hear tap dancers moving from left to right and back again. It might be lightweight musically, but it’s a treat to hear and a great way to show off your stereo.
