Offered for sale is a copy of the limited edition U.S. half speed mastered pressing of the double album Chicago Transit Authority by Chicago, issued by Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs.
About this copy: This copy of Chicago Transit Authority is a 1984 U.S. pressing on the Mobile Fidelity label of an album that was originally released in 1969.
While technically a U.S. release, the discs were pressed in Japan by JVC using their proprietary “Supervinyl” compound.
The cover is M-with trace corner wear. The posterboard inserts are included.
The two discs are M- and look unplayed. Clean discs!
A nice copy of a terrific (and great-sounding) album.
Background: Released in 1969, Chicago Transit Authority was the first album by Chicago.
The album reached #17 on the U.S. album charts.
