Who (and related) – Set of four Japanese CDs with obi

A set of four Who and Who-related Japanese compact discs.

1 in stock

We don’t ordinarily sell compact discs here, but we came across some interesting Japanese Who and Who-related items recently, so we thought we’d list them as a set, for our convenience and yours.

All are mint and include the obi.

1.  The Who – Odds and Sods (Polydor/Track POCP-9202)  Original 1999 release that includes the original 11 tracks plus 12 bonus tracks.  Rather than a jewel case, the cover is a mini album cover replica.  Booklet and obi are included.

2. The Who – The Kids are Alright (Polydor/Track POCP-9212/3) Original 1999 2 CD set includes custom inner sleeves, two booklets and the obi.

3. London Symphony Orchestra – Tommy (Teichiku TECW-23561)  Probably a late-1990s issue of this 1972 recording of The Who’s Tommy that includes vocals by Richie Havens, Ringo Starr, John Entwistle, Steve Winwood, Maggie Bell, Pete Townshend, Richard Harris and Sandy Denny.  This 2 CD set includes a booklet and obi and is new and unopened.

4. Emma Townshend – Winterland (EastWest AMC-2598) The first and, to date, only album by Pete Townshend’s daughter Emma, released in 1998.  This CD includes the booklet and obi and appears to be unplayed.  This album got good reviews and drew comparisons to Tori Amos, but pretty much disappeared without making too much of an impact.
