Offered for sale is a copy of the scarce compilation Pre-Dog Night by Three Dog Night vocalist Danny Hutton.
Background: Prior to hitting it big as a member of Three Dog Night, Danny Hutton had tried a solo career with relatively little success, though one song, “Roses and Rainbows,” hit #73 on the Billboard charts in 1965. After Three Dog Night became successful, MGM records compiled a number of singles from Hutton’s earlier career and released them as an album, Pre-Dog Night. The album was not a big seller and soon went out of print.
About this copy: This copy of Pre-Dog Night has a VG++ cover, with just bits of wear at the edges. The disc is VG++, with just a couple of light marks from being removed from the paper sleeve. It appears to have had very little play and is nearly M-.
