Description
Offered for sale is an original U.S. pressing of the live album Livemiles by Tangerine Dream.
About this copy: This copy of Livemiles is a 1988 U.S. pressing on the Caroline Records label.
The cover is VG++ with trace corner wear and a saw mark in the upper right hand corner.
The disc is VG++ and close to M- with a couple of faint scuffs from the paper inner sleeve. The album has likely only been played a couple of times. Clean disc!
A nice copy of a pretty good live album that’s hard to find on vinyl, as most copies were sold on compact disc when the album was first released.
Background: Released in 1988, Livemiles was the thirty fourth album by Tangerine Dream and their sixth live album. While supposedly a live album recorded in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Berlin, the album is actually a studio recording.
The album did not chart.
Allmusic.com gave Livemiles a 3 star review:
Livemiles consists of two parts, which were both recorded live. “Pt. 1” was recorded during the American tour of 1986, while “Pt. 2” was captured at a concert to commemorate the 750th anniversary of Berlin. Both pieces are a little long and meandering, yet they offer enough highlights to make the album a worthwhile purchase for die-hard Tangerine Dream fans.
