About this copy: This copy of Nothing Like the Sun is a 1987 U.S. pressing on the A&M label.

Disc one is M-; disc two is VG++ with a couple of faint scuffs. It’s a clean disc that plays well.
A nice copy of a scarce (and great-sounding) LP.
Background: Released in 1987, Nothing Like the Sun was the second solo album by Sting.
The album reached #1 on the UK albums chart and #9 in the U.S., where it sold 3 million copies.
Allmusic.com gave Nothing Like the Sun a 4 1/2 star review:
If Dream of the Blue Turtles was an unabashedly pretentious affair, it looks positively lighthearted in comparison to Sting’s sophomore effort, Nothing Like the Sun, one of the most doggedly serious pop albums ever recorded. … it’s one of his better albums.
