Offered for sale is a complete Japanese pressing of The Verve Collectors’ Item, a 4 LP box set containing material from some of the best of Verve’s Jazz artists of the 1950s, including the original obi.

About this copy: This copy of The Verve Collectors’ Item is a 1983 Japanese pressing on the Verve label.
The box is VG, with a fair amount of edge wear, but no splits. The obi is VG++, with a bit of foxing, but no tears. The insert is VG++, with slight foxing.
The four discs are M- and look unplayed. Beautiful set.
A nice collection of classic Jazz.
Background: We don’t know much about The Verve Collectors’ Item. It was released in Japan in 1983 and as far as we know, the 4 LP box set was not released anywhere else.
It’s a collection of pretty much every major artist who recorded for Verve in the 1950s.
