Offered for sale is a Japanese pressing of the all-instrumental LP Ela É Carioca by Sergio Mendes & Bossa Rio, including the original obi.

Note: This LP lists the title on the label as Ela É Carioca and on the cover as Você Ainda Não Ouviu Nada!.  The album was released in the United States in 1967 as The Beat of Brazil.

About this copy: This copy of Ela É Carioca is a 1978 Japanese pressing of an album that was recorded in 1963, but this may be the first Japanese issue.

Cover and obi are M-.  This LP appears to have been issued without an insert.

The disc is M- and looks unplayed.

A beautiful copy of a much-underrated Sergio Mendes LP.

Background: Recorded in 1963, Você Ainda Não Ouviu Nada! was the fourth album by Sergio Mendes.  Originally released only in South America, the album was eventually released worldwide after the success of Mendes’ Brasil ’66 group in 1966.
