Offered for sale is a copy of the 1973 Japan-only double album box set compilation Gift Pack Series by Santana, including the original obi and poster/calendar.
About this copy: This copy of Gift Pack Series is an original 1973 pressing on the CBS/Sony label. As far as we know, this copy is complete with the exception of a sheet that listed other titles in the Gift Pack series.
The box is VG, with only slight wear, but with a lot of foxing, particularly on the inside. There are no tears on the box.
The obi is VG, with a moderate amount of fading.
The custom inner sleeves are VG++, with a few minor wrinkles. The lyric booklet is M-. A rare postcard for ordering a record company catalog is included.
The poster/1974 calendar is M- with no rips, tears, or holes.
The two discs are M- and have likely only been played once or twice. Clean discs!
A nice, if not-quite-perfect, copy of a rare Santana set that is almost never found complete.
Background: The Gift Pack Series was a short-lived set of 2 LP box sets that were issued in late 1973, likely as holiday gifts. All were compilation albums by well-known artists.
