Offered for sale is an original 2 LP Japanese issue of Pink Floyd’s The Wall, complete with obi and all inserts.
Pink Floyd’s 1979 double album The Wall alienated a few fans and made the band a bunch of new ones. Regardless of opinion, the album sold in the millions and is highly regarded by audiophiles as being among the best-sounding albums in the band’s catalog. The long-out-of-print Japanese pressing is generally regarded as the best, and has been on the Absolute Sound’s recommended list for decades.
About this copy: The copy offered for sale is an original Japanese pressing and is complete, including both custom sleeves, the Japanese lyric insert, the hard to find “cap” obi that folds over the cover, and the original plastic sticker that was attached to the shrink wrap from the factory.
The cover and all inserts are M-; the obi is VG+ with a very small tear. Both discs are M- and aside from a couple of minor spindle marks, look essentially unplayed.
A gorgeous copy of a great-sounding rock classic.
