Description
Offered for sale is a purple vinyl pressing of the live album Neil Young at the Los Angeles Music Center by Neil Young, issued by the Trademark of Quality label.
About this copy: This copy of Neil Young at the Los Angeles Music Center is a 1972 U.S. pressing on the Trademark of Quality label.
The blue cover has a rubber stamped title and a yellow sticker that reads “Trade Mark of Quality.”
The cover is VG, with quite a bit of foxing, but no splits.
The insert is a reproduction.
This copy has the “sideways pig” labels with the smaller pig that say “Made in Holland.” The purple vinyl disc is VG++ with a couple of faint scuffs from the paper inner sleeve. There are a number of spindle marks on the labels. It’s a clean record that’s had a lot of play but has been well cared for.
A nice copy of a scarce Neil Young LP.
Background: Recorded on February 1, 1971, Neil Young at the Los Angeles Music Center was released by a number of labels under a number of different titles, including “I’m Glad Y’all Came Down,” “I’m Happy Y’all Came Down,” and “Live on Sugar Mountain.”
Most of these pressings were double albums, but the Trademark of Quality issue was a single disc and advertised that on the cover “Complete on one disc.”
The album is regarded by Neil Young collectors as one of his better live efforts.
