Background: In the late 1960s, Brad Miller founded the instrumental easy listening group called the Mystic Moods Orchestra. This group released mostly instrumental recordings that mixed music with environmental sounds.
When Miller’s company, Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs, began pressing high quality half speed mastered audiophile LPs in 1978, Miller used recordings by the Mystic Moods Orchestra for the label’s first three releases in their Original Master Recording series.
