Description
Offered for sale is an autographed 1964 U.S. promotional copy of Before I’m Over You, the second album by Loretta Lynn.
About this copy: This copy of Before I’m Over You is a 1964 U.S. pressing on the Decca label.
The cover is VG, with a 1/2″ (1 cm) tear near the mouth of the cover, a water stain on the back cover, and a few stray ballpoint pen marks on the back. The cover has no splits.
The lower right hand corner of the front cover has been inscribed:
“Best to Ed and Jon
Thank you
Your Friend
Loretta Lynn”
The inscription is sharp and the album was likely signed shortly after the album’s release in 1964.
The original Decca inner sleeve is included and has no splits.
The pink label promotional disc is in poor condition, with uniform scratches across both sides and hundreds of spindle marks on the labels.
Still, it’s a nice piece that should display well, as the only issue on the front cover is the small tear near the mouth, which happens to be in a dark area of the cover.
A nice copy of a rare Loretta Lynn LP.
Background: Released in June, 1964, Before I’m Over You was the second album by country singer-songwriter Loretta Lynn.
