Lesley Gore – The Sound of Young Love sealed 1969 2 LP set

A sealed copy of a rare 1969 2 LP set by Lesley Gore – The Sound of Young Love

1 in stock

Offered for sale is a sealed copy of a scarce 2 LP set by Lesley Gore, entitled The Sound of Young Love.

About this copy: The copy offered for sale is still sealed and the records are presumably unplayed.  There is a small tear in the wrap (1″ or so) on the bottom edge.  Aside from that, it’s virtually perfect.

A nice copy of a record that’s surprisingly hard to find.  This is the only copy we’ve ever had for sale.

Background:  The Sound of Young Love is one of the harder to find titles among Lesley Gore LPs, as it was only in print for a short time after its 1969 release by Mercury’s budget Wing label.  While the album appears to be a compilation LP, it is actually a reissue of two albums that had previously been issued on Wing – Girl Talk, and Love, Love, Love, (which were themselves reissues of Mercury’s Girl Talk and Lesley Gore Sings All About Love, with two tracks removed from each album.)
