Description
Offered for sale is a scarce copy of Kim Carnes’ 1971 debut LP, Rest on Me, issued on Amos Records.
About this copy: The copy offered for sale is quite clean with a VG+ cover with just traces of ring wear. It has a cut corner, but it’s the smallest corner cut we’ve ever seen. The record is VG++, with just a couple of light scuffs from being removed from the inner sleeve. It obviously has only been played a couple of times.
A nice copy of an obscure debut LP.
Background: Many thought Kim Carnes was a fresh face when she hit it big in 1981 with “Betty Davis Eyes”, but in fact, she’d been around for more than a decade. Her first LP, Rest on Me, was issued on the short-lived and obscure Amos label and it drew no attention and quickly went out of print.
