Background: Released in 1966 in the Dallas, Texas, area, The Impact Sound of Kenny and the Kasuals was pressed in a run of just 500 copies. The album was largely sold at public appearances, and original pressings rarely turn up for sale.
The album was reissued in 1977, and reissues indicate so on the back cover.
