Description
Offered for sale is a red vinyl pressing of the Japan-only LP Julie London Deluxe by Julie London, including the original obi.
About this copy: This copy of Julie London Deluxe is an original 1967 pressing on the Liberty label, pressed on “Everclean” red vinyl.
The gatefold cover is M-. The obi is VG++, with a couple of minor wrinkles. The “hojyuhyo,” or reorder tag, has been removed.
The lyric insert is missing.
The red vinyl disc is VG+ on side one, as there’s a fingernail mark that’s largely inaudible through one track. There are no other marks on that side of the disc. Side 2 is M-. There are a few spindle marks on the labels.
Overall, a very clean disc.
A nice copy of a scarce Julie London LP.
Background: Like many American artists, Julie London didn’t sell a lot of studio albums in Japan. Most buyers there were happy to buy compilation LPs, and her record company produced a number of them, including this one, Julie London Deluxe, which was issued in 1967.
