Background: Released in 1974, Loose Ends was the fourth and final album of unreleased tracks by Jimi Hendrix to be released through his manager.
The title is accurate; the songs on the album are pretty much all of the completed tracks that his management could find that didn’t need extensive work to complete.
The album was released in the UK, France, Germany, and Japan, but Reprise Records in the United States elected not to release the album.
All of the material on Loose Ends has since been released in other collections, and the album has long been out of print everywhere.
