Offered for sale is a sealed copy of High, Live ‘n Dirty by Jimi Hendrix, pressed on red vinyl.
High, Live ‘n Dirty is a recording of a 1968 club date by Jimi Hendrix, accompanied by Jim Morrison of the Doors as well as members of the McCoys and a few other uncredited musicians, one of whom may (or may not) be Johnny Winter. The recording is raw and unpolished and was reportedly made from a tape that was stolen from Jimi’s apartment.
High, Live ‘n Dirty has been issued numerous times under various titles, but High, Live ‘n Dirty is probably the best-known of them. Released in 1978 by Nutmeg Records and pressed on red vinyl, the cover emphasized the “x-rated” dialogue and lyrics heard in the recordings.
About this copy: The copy offered for sale is a still sealed original red vinyl pressing. The record is presumably new and unplayed. The wrap is fully intact with no rips, tears or holes. There’s a bit of a price sticker still attached.
An interesting 1960s artifact and a nice copy of a Hendrix collectible.
