Offered for sale is an original Japanese pressing of The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack From the Feature Length Motion Picture “Experience” by Jimi Hendrix, including the original obi.
About this copy: This copy of the Experience soundtrack is an original 1971 Japanese pressing on the Polydor label.
The gatefold cover is VG+ with moderate edge wear. The obi is VG, with no tears, but with moderate foxing and some fading on the left edge. The “hojyuhyo” (reorder tag) is still attached.
This LP was issued without an insert.
The disc is M- on side one and VG++ on side two with a couple of faint scuffs near the label. The label has slight foxing.
A nice copy of a fairly scarce Jimi Hendrix LP.

The film was never completed or released, but the soundtrack was released in several countries, but not in the U.S.

This single disc in a beautiful gatefold cover, Experience (subtitled “Original Soundtrack from the Feature Length Motion Picture ‘Experience'”) is material culled from the Jimi Hendrix appearances at Royal Albert Hall in London during February 1969. …”Sunshine of Your Love” is fun and “Room Full of Mirrors” is also a delight, at least performance-wise, Hendrix acknowledging the presence of Chris Wood and Dave Mason of Traffic on the track — though they aren’t credited anywhere on the album jacket. With the Experience Hendrix company releasing so much other high-quality material, this one is definitely for the completists/fanatics.
