Offered for sale is an original blue vinyl copy of the live album Broadcasts by Jimi Hendrix, issued on the collectible Trademark of Quality label.
About this copy: This copy of Broadcasts is a 1971 U.S. pressing on the Trademark of Quality label.
This is a first issue, with labels with a large “1” and “2” on the labels, without the black ring on the perimiter and without the pig logos used on later pressings.
The light green cover is VG, with some smudges, a bit of fading, and two neatly-repaired seam splits. It presents well.
The title “Jimi Hendrix Broadcasts” has been rubber stamped on the cover. There is an orange sticker that has a pg on it and says “Trade Mark of Quality.”
The insert is a reproduction.
The blue vinyl disc is M- and looks like it’s only been played a couple of times. There are a couple of faint scuffs from being removed from the paper inner sleeve, but no other marks on the vinyl. Clean disc!
A nice copy of a rare Jimi Hendrix LP.
Background: Originally released in 1971 on the Trademark of Quality label, Broadcasts was one of the labels earliest titles.
