Offered for sale is an original U.S. promotional copy of It’s Your Night by James Ingram, pressed on high-quality Quiex II audiophile vinyl.
These Quiex II vinyl pressings were issued only for promotional use.
About this copy: This copy of It’s Your Night is a 1983 pressing on the Quest label.
The cover is VG+, with some writing on the front cover and light edge and corner wear. There is a sticker on the cover that says “Quiex II Limited Edition Pressing” and a promotional stamp in the upper left hand corner.
The custom inner sleeve is M- with no splits.
The disc is VG++ and close to M-, with a couple of faint scuffs from being removed from the paper inner sleeve. There are no spindle marks on the labels and no other signs of play. Clean disc!
A nice-sounding copy of a classic LP.
Background: Released in 1983, It’s Your Night was the debut LP by James Ingram.
The album reached #46 on the U.S. album chart and the single, “Yah Mo Be There,” a duet with Michael McDonald, reached #19 on the U.S. pop charts.
