The cover is VG++ with slight corner wear The obi is M-. The lyric insert is M-.
The record is M- on side one and VG++ on side two, as there is a faint inaudible mark through the last two tracks. There are a few spindle marks on the labels.
A nice copy of a scarce Heart LP. For some reason, this one doesn’t turn up all that often.
Background: Released in 1978, Dog & Butterfly was the fourth album by Heart.
The album reached #17 on the U.S. album charts.

Dog & Butterfly became Heart’s fourth million-selling album and placed two songs of opposing styles in the Top 40. Like their Magazine album, Dog & Butterfly peaked at number 17 on the charts, but the material from it is much stronger from every standpoint, with Ann and Nancy Wilson involving themselves to a greater extent. The light, afternoon feel of the title track peaked at number 34, while the more resounding punch of “Straight On” went all the way to number 15 as the album’s first single.
