Offered for sale is a still sealed pressing of Brigade by Heart, released through the Columbia Record Club.
This record club issue was the only U.S. original U.S. vinyl release of the album; all copies sold in stores were on cassette or compact disc.
About this copy: This copy of Brigade is an original 1990 U.S. pressing on the Capitol label, released through the Columbia Record Club, as indicated on the back cover.
As the album is still sealed, the record is presumably new and unplayed.
The wrap is fully intact, with no rips, tears, or holes.
A beautiful copy of a rare Heart LP, and the only copy we’ve ever seen.
Background: Released in 1990, Brigade was the tenth studio album by Heart.
The album reached #3 on the U.S. album charts and has sold more than two million copies to date. The single “All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You” reached #2 on the U.S. singles charts.
Heart entered the 1990s with Brigade, which isn’t quite as strong as Heart or Bad Animals, but is nonetheless a respectable effort that has more pluses than minuses. While producer Richie Zito’s approach is undeniably slick and glossy, he maintains enough rough edges to keep things interesting… Though Heart or Bad Animals would serve as a better introduction to Heart’s Capitol output, Brigade is an album that die-hard fans shouldn’t overlook.
