Offered for sale is an original UK pressing of the 1997 double album Calling All Stations by Genesis.
This is a three-sided album, with a picture of the band etched into side four. This album was not released on vinyl in the U.S.

The cover is VG, with edge and corner wear, mostly along the top edge and a couple of small splits on the bottom edge.
The two custom inner sleeves are M-.
The two discs are M- with a couple of faint sleeve scuffs. The discs have clearly only been played once or twice.
A nice copy of a very rare Genesis LP, as most buyers purchased the album on compact disc when the album was first released.
Background: Released in 1997, Calling All Stations was the final studio album by Genesis and the only one to feature Ray Wilson on vocals.
The album reached #2 on the UK charts, but only reached #54 in the U.S.
Reviews were mixed, but we’re quite fond of the album.

Phil Collins left Genesis following the We Can’t Dance tour and many observers expected Tony Banks and Michael Rutherford to finally call it a day. They decided to persevere instead, hiring former Stiltskin vocalist Ray Wilson to replace Collins. Given that Stiltskin was a European neo-prog band, it isn’t a total surprise that Genesis returned to their art rock roots on Calling All Stations, their first album with Wilson. The music on Calling All Stations is long, dense, and lugubrious, but it’s given the same immaculate, pristine production that was the hallmark of their adult contemporary work with Collins.
