The cover is M-, and includes an 8 page photo and lyric booklet (with lyrics in both English and Japanese and a then-current Japanese Elvis discography. One page folds out into a poster measuring 12″ x 16″.
This LP was issued without an insert. The rare original RCA-branded rice paper inner sleeve is included.
The rare die-cut obi is VG+, with a bit of foxing and some wrinkles on the star-shaped area, but no holes or tears. There’s a bit of foxing on the back.
The disc is M-. There are a few spindle marks on the labels, but the disc has been well cared for and has clearly had relatively little play.
While the disc is labeled “Living Stereo,” the album plays in rechanneled stereo.
A beautiful copy of a rare Elvis LP that rarely turns up complete.
Background: As the market for English-language music is rather small in Japan, Japanese record companies often released compilation album to appeal to buyers who had only casual interest in Western artists.
Elvis’ Golden Story, released in 1965, is one such example. This was issued to appeal to Japanese buyers who might not have been interested in buying all of Presley’s LPs, but who just wanted one with the hits.
