Offered for sale is a scarce copy of Elton John’s 1969 debut LP, Empty Sky, issued in Spain.
Empty Sky was Elton John’s first solo album, and it made such a small impression when released in 1969 that it wasn’t issued in the United States until 1974, when John had established himself as a star. When it was released in America, it had a different cover from the one issued elsewhere in the world.
About this copy: This is a copy of Empty Sky from Spain, issued on the DJM label. It’s essentially identical to the UK copies of the album, though we can’t say if it’s an original pressing or not. The cover is laminated, so it may well be a first issue.
The cover is VG+, with a bit of wear at the corners. The disc is VG+, with some scuffs from the paper inner sleeve.
