Description
Offered for sale is a still sealed copy of the privately pressed An Arrow Escape by Davie Allan.
About this copy: This copy of An Arrow Escape is a sealed original 1983 pressing on the Alkor label. As the album is sealed, the disc is presumably new and unplayed.
The wrap is fully intact except for a tiny break near the lower right hand corner.
A nice copy of a scarce Davie Allan LP.
Background: While he had few chart hits, Davie Allan, and his band, the Arrows, sold a lot of albums in the 1960s, mostly in the form of soundtrack LPs to biker movies.
Their biggest hit was the instrumental “Blues Theme” which reached #37 on the U.S. charts.
Allan kept recording, and An Arrow Escape, released in 1983, was a change in direction, taking on a more country tone.
