Description
Offered for sale is a still sealed limited edition U.S. red, white, and blue splatter vinyl pressing of the double compilation album Chronicle by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
This limited edition colored vinyl set was sold only through Walmart stores in the United States.
About this copy: This copy of Chronicle is a 202 U.S. pressing on the Fantasy label of an album that was originally released (in this format) in 2005.
As the album is still sealed, the records are presumably new and unplayed.
The wrap is fully intact with no rips, tears, or holes. There is a hype sticker attached to the wrap that says “Limited Edition Exclusive Red, White, and Blue Vinyl.”
This set has been reissued on other colors of vinyl, but this particular pressing is long out of print.
A nice copy of a classic CCR LP.
Background: Released in 2005, Chronicle: The 20 Greatest Hits is a compilation album by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
The album reached #22 on the U.S. album chart.
Allmusic.com gave Chronicle: The 20 Greatest Hits a 5 star review:
Chronicle, Vol. 1 contains every one of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s original 19 hit singles — including “Proud Mary,” “Bad Moon Rising,” “Green River,” “Down on the Corner,” “Travelin’ Band,” “Up Around the Band,” and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” — plus “I Heard It Through the Grapevine,” which became a hit at the same time this double-record compilation was released. It’s a lean, concise collection that tells you everything you need to know about Creedence.
