About this copy: This copy of Take Me Home is a 1979 U.S. pressing on the Casablanca label.
As the album is still sealed, the record is presumably new and unplayed.
The wrap is fully intact except for small breaks at the four corners. (see photos.) The breaks in the wrap are quite small.
An original price tag is attached to the wrap.
Unlike many copies of this album, this copy does not have any punch holes, saw marks, or cut corners.
A nice copy of a scarce Cher LP and the first copy of this picture disc that we’ve had for sale in a number of years.
Background: Take Me Home was one of only a couple of albums that Cher released in a disco vein, and it did reasonably well on the charts, reaching #25 on the American Billboard albums charts in 1979 and being certified gold by the RIAA.
Casablanca Records released Take Me Home as a limited edition picture disc, though it didn’t sell particularly well. Many copies found today have cutout marks on them.
