Description
Offered for sale is a still sealed original U.S. mono copy of Twisting With the Cadillacs by the Cadillacs.
About this copy: This copy of Twisting With the Cadillacs is a 1962 U.S. pressing on the Jubilee label.
All copies of this album were mono; there was no stereo issue.
As the album is still sealed, the record is presumably new and unplayed.
The wrap is fully intact except for a small break at the upper left hand corner. The cover is VG++ with slight edge wear and slight “rounding” on a couple of corners. There is an original price sticker attached to the wrap.
A nice copy of a pretty good doo wop LP and easily the rarest of the three albums by the Cadillacs.
Background: Released in 1962, Twisting With the Cadillacs was the third and final album by the New York-based doo wop group The Cadillacs.
The album did not chart, though the single, “Peek-A-Boo” reached #28 on the U.S. singles chart and “Romeo,” reached #105.
The album was released to capitalize on the then-current “twist” craze, and consists of a few uptempo numbers from their two previous albums plus some newer tracks that had been released as singles.
