Offered for sale is a copy of a rare 1970 self-titled compilation LP by Black Sabbath, available only through a German record club.

About this copy: This copy of Black Sabbath is an original German record club issue on the Vertigo label.

The cover is VG, with wear at the corners and edges.  “Club Sonderauflage” is printed on the front cover, which indicates a record club issue.

The disc is VG, with a number of small marks on each side and a couple of scratches through the first two tracks on side two.  It should play quite well.

Not the cleanest copy, but a very rare LP and the only copy we’ve ever seen.

Background: This compilation was released only through a German record club in 1970, and contains tracks from the band’s first two LPs.
