About this copy:  This copy of The Early Beatles is an original U.S. mono pressing on the Capitol label.

The cover is VG++, with light ring wear.  The number 3 on the back cover indicates a Scranton, Pennsylvania pressing.

The disc is VG+ with a few sleeve scuffs and light marks.

A nice play copy of a terrific LP.

Background: After Capitol Records acquired the rights to the first Beatles album from Vee Jay Records, they opted not to reissue either Introducing the Beatles or the British Please Please Me LPs, but instead put together an altogether different collection of songs from the same material, with the title The Early Beatles.

The album was essentially Introducing the Beatles, with a few tracks left out that had already been released on other albums.  The public was largely indifferent, and the album only reached #43 on the Billboard album chart.
