Offered for sale is an original stereo U.S. pressing of Something New by the Beatles.

About this copy: This copy of Something New is an original 1964 pressing on the black Capitol label with the rainbow band.  There is a number 3 on the back cover indicating that the LP was manufactured at the Scranton, Pennsylvania pressing plant.

The cover is VG+, with slight wear at the bottom front and a bit of foxing on the back cover.

The disc is VG+, with a few sleeve scuffs.

A nice copy of a terrific LP.

Background:  Something New was the third Beatles album to be released by Capitol in 1964, and the album was prepared exclusively for the American market, though it was later issued in other countries.

The album reached #2 on the American albums chart, helped by the singles “And I Love Her” and “Matchbox.”
