About this copy: The copy of Magical Mystery Tour offered for sale is a 1978 UK copy on the Parlophone label, pressed exclusively for export to the United States and pressed on beautiful yellow vinyl.

The cover is VG++, with slight edge wear at the mouth of the cover.  The booklet is included and is still attached.

The yellow vinyl disc is M- and may be unplayed.  Beautiful disc!

A nice copy of a Beatles LP that has become quite hard to find.

Background:  Magical Mystery Tour was released in 1967, originally as a U.S.-only release.  The album contained tracks from their film of the same name, along with tracks from a few recent singles.

In the UK, the tracks from the film (without the extra singles) were released as a double 7″ EP.

The album reached #1 on the U.S. album charts.

Allmusic.com gave Magical Mystery Tour a 5 star review:

The U.S. version of the soundtrack for the Beatles’ ill-fated British television special embellished the six songs that were found on the British Magical Mystery Tour double EP with five other cuts from their 1967 singles. The psychedelic sound is very much in the vein of Sgt. Pepper’s, and even spacier in parts (especially the sound collages of “I Am the Walrus”). Unlike Sgt. Pepper’s, there’s no vague overall conceptual/thematic unity to the material, which has made Magical Mystery Tour suffer slightly in comparison. Still, the music is mostly great, and “Penny Lane,” “Strawberry Fields Forever,” “All You Need Is Love,” and “Hello Goodbye” were all huge, glorious, and innovative singles. The ballad “The Fool on the Hill,” though only a part of the Magical Mystery Tour soundtrack, is also one of the most popular Beatles tunes from the era.

In 1978, collectors seemed to go crazy for both colored vinyl and picture discs, and record companies in both the United States and Europe pressed a number of limited edition titles to keep them happy.  For the Beatles, Parlophone Records in Britain pressed four titles on colored vinyl, but made them for export only:  Let It Be (white), Abbey Road (green), the White Album (white) and Magical Mystery Tour (yellow.)  Most of those discs, and possibly all of them, were shipped to the United States.

All four are quite hard to find today, as they sold in relatively small numbers when new.
