Offered for sale is a blue vinyl pressing of the live album In Atlanta Whiskey Flat by the Beatles, issued in the early 1970s on the Trademark of Quality label.
The Trademark of Quality record label, based in California, was one of the earliest manufacturers of what were then called “underground” records. Many of their titles were pressed on colored vinyl and all of them are scarce today.
Despite the title, In Atlanta Whiskey Flat was not recorded in Atlanta. In fact, it’s the afternoon show from their September 2, 1964 performance at Convention Hall, Philadelphia.

About this copy: This copy of The Beatles in Atlanta Whiskey Flat is an early pressing on the Trademark of Quality label, pressed on beautiful blue vinyl and featuring labels that bear only the numbers “1” and “2”. Later pressings had either a “sideways pig” or a “smoking pig” logo.
The cover is white with a rubber stamped title. A pink sticker that says “Trademark of Quality” is attached to the cover, which still retains most of the original shrink wrap. The cover is M- but has some discoloration near the mouth.
A reproduction of the original paper insert is included.
The blue vinyl disc is M- and looks unplayed.
A gorgeous copy of a Beatles rarity that seldom turns up in this condition.
